Wild Flower Tours
There are over 12,000 species of wildflowers in Western Australia. And once a year, for about five months of the year they bloom into a blaze of colour that carpets the landscape .Many of the rare species of native flowers are distinct to the state. And every year, the flowers cross-pollinate to create new natural hybrids. Wildflower season usually falls between July and October. It starts in the state's far north, then extends down into the central and south-western districts. Rains and sunshine greatly influence the timing of the wildflower season.
